Everyday In May {Day 2: Weekend Review}

Happy Monday! The weekend started off with a great devotion:

A little bit of coffee and whole lot of Jesus!

After a nice morning with Jesus, Ryan and I ran some errands and then had a pretzel date.

Sunday Funday! After church, someone was getting a big boy mattress!

I can't even with this face!

While Ryan had his nap, we put the finishing touches on his room.

Then I replanted the roses we received for our birthdays:

One of the things I'm working through right now is giving more, and wanting less. Rhinestone Jesus is such a great book to help me.

G: "People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." ~1 Sam 16:7

L: I complain about dust in my house and weeds in my lot, but there are people living on dirt floors, in a shanty the size of an area rug who praise God with more fervor. With so much, how can my joy be incomplete? I don't want to waste time and money on things that don't matter. So why do I?

A: Rejoice in my insufficiency, knowing that God's power is made perfect in weakness.

M: God, show me that I don't lack anything. I want to concentrate my efforts on the present and bring you all the glory.
