October Blessings

October is my favorite month. It's when the leaves change (in other parts of the country, not in my hometown), the mornings and evening are crisp, scarves and hoodies come out of storage, and best of all, pumpkins are everywhere.

Last October was a special one, when we took our son to Disneyland for the first time. This year, we continued that tradition, despite the worst crowd we've ever been a part of, and the hottest day Anaheim had on record.Still, we made the best of it, starting with breakfast with Mickey...definitely something to do once. And only once. $85 for 2 adults is a bit much.

My prince charming!

Ryan definitely loves sleeping in the car after reading a good book...

We took our little pumpkin to a small patch in town...most of the pumpkins were already rotting, so it was mostly a trip for pictures.

We took what has become an annual trip to San Diego for one of my conferences. It was definitely took short, but great to get out of town and be outdoors!

We celebrated Halloween a day early at hubby's work.

The next day, Ryan went in for circumcision. We were on edge, but Ryan bounced back so quick, as if nothing happened. Praise God for the great doctors and nurses!
