Life has been full and busy and crazy and wonderful. Every day I strive to make happy memories!
If Ryan sleeps late, I read in my devotionals or catch up on blogging. Most days he's awake before me and he gets some cartoon time:
After some meltdown-like behavior in restaurants in January, I really wanted to get his manners under control. So we tried another restaurant (Red Robin) who put him in his first booster seat!! Buh-bye high chair! This got me thinking about seating around our kitchen table at home. In any case, Ryan did so much better this time around!
That face!!!
Our home has a major backyard...careful what you wish for! And my dad has been creating a track. The other day, he enlisted Ryan in the yard clean up...that's why we have kids, right?
I had a work event at the local pizza place and Ryan got to come with me. He didn't go much for the pizza. Balloons are his thing:
Then mommy had to take it away. Where did it go??
Ryan earned his ice cream that night. His dinner behavior is getting so good!
February 13th! Galentine's Day with my dear friend, LeAnna! Loved catching up and talking. We could spend all day talking!
That night, Stephan and I had a pre-birthday dinner at the local sushi restaurant. The AV roll is my new favorite!
On Sunday, mommy almost had a tearful moment...Ryan went to the 2-year old room at church. He's 2 months shy, but the nursery was boring him. He did so well!
Sitting on his teacher's lap. AWWWWW!
After church, mommy needed a caffeine boost. I had the sweetest Starbucks Date!
We headed out of town for President's Day. First stop, lunch at The Counter on Wilshire. Love this silly kid!
Eating a grilled cheese by himelf. I've never been so proud.
We walked across the street to the Tar Pits! Someone please explain what the Tar Pits are, and why they aren't all over the place...
One short walk to LACMA to see all the weird "art".
Stephan and I have waited almost 9 years to get to the lampposts. Not as pretty during the day, but, you couldn't beat the gorgeous weather!
My son goes nuts for anything shaped like a ball!
We needed a big drink break!
A long 9-mile drive, thanks LA traffic, and we made it to the beach!
Can you believe this weather! #sorrynotsorry
I'm shocked that Ryan didn't sleep on the way home. He was alert and happy for the entire day. Life lately has been amazing!
