Everyday in May: {Day 31: Weekend Review and June Goals}

What a weekend! We filled our days with the outdoors and lots of fun!

Friday morning, I hosted mommy Bible study. We ate breakfast outside as the kids played.

I showed my dad SnapChat filters

For dinner, we BBQ'd chicken burgers and I sauteed mushrooms, onions, and baby bell peppers. We ate outside on our side patio. It was a lovely evening!

Before I knew it, it was time to get ready for bed, and try this new Glam Glow mask for firmer skin!

Saturday was full of home improvements...painting the re-textured walls, installing ceiling fans, and cleaning! But first, some early morning giggles...

I was put in charge of painting...something I absolutely abhor! Never again!

When I finished, I took Ryan for errands, and lunch at Panera...I love my lunch date!

Sunday was Fun-day! But first, a haircut...Look at this mop!

Ryan fell asleep on the drive down...

We tried a new place that had good reviews. They even had a Thomas & Friends train table!

I have zero pics from the cut, because we were very busy holding Ryan still. He absolutely hates getting his hair cut.

So we headed to KidSpace next for their museum. Ryan wasn't really in the mood for crowds (neither were we), so we instead inspected the grounds and played at the nearby park.

Next was lunch at The Counter. Ryan ate like a champ and was VERY well-behaved.

 And another Snap filter :)

We decided to visit Travel Town and see the huge trains. We went last May when Ryan was 1, so we were curious how he'd like them now that he is more into trains than ever.

This was last year's trip on their train...
And here's this years!
He had a ball! He loved it!

A ladybug found him...

Then we decided to hit the brand new Whole Foods 365 in Silver Lake. I was anxious to see the prices...they say they're lower without sacrificing the goods.
A full basket of beautiful produce!
And I got $5 off my bill just for signing up for their Rewards.

That night, Stephan's mom and sister watched Ryan, and we ate dinner on our side patio again.
Then I showered, put on Netflix, and fell asleep.
For 13 hours.

Monday morning (almost afternoon), Ryan came with me to get coffee. This face never gets old!

We've accomplished a lot this month, and we're scaling back for the summer. Therefore, the goals for June are:
  • Save more (I don't get a July paycheck, so saving is going to be top priority)
  • Exercise (I've really slumped...gotta get back to Blogilates)
  • Self-publish my 30-day devotional

G: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
L: This is definitely one of my favorite verses. It's one of those verses that you see when going through a rough season, and you want to kick yourself because you know better! The unknown is scary, but knowing God is in control isn't. It's like a breath of fresh air to know God is taking care of it.
AYou know God can handle anything, that He is in control. Yet, life happens and we tend to forget that God is handling it all. God's provision is perfect, His grace is enough, and His love is everlasting. I want for nothing.
M: God, I thank you for this past month of devotions. I write for your glory. I pray that I might spread your Good News and love to many.
