Workin' It Wednesday: Summer schedules

Today is Workin' It Wednesday when I link up with Shay at mixandmatchmama.com and Erika at tabanderika.blogspot.com - 2 awesome blogs you should check out!

Today is about keeping our kids entertained all summer.

Well, Ryan is an only child, so I probably have it easier than those multi-child households.

First, Ryan loves to play alone and with others, so I like to break up the day between chores we can do together such as laundry and watering the trees, activities we can do together such as Cosmic Kids Yoga, and then give him some independent time to discover things on his own.

I am constantly praying for babies we can adopt so that Ryan has siblings. But until that happens, I am relishing this time with him.

Aside from swim lessons for the next two weeks, our days can be pretty open. We'll have some play dates here and there, but I really want to spend quality time with him. I'm not as entertaining as Cars and Veggie Tales, but I'm trying.

Here's some things we have planned this summer to make it less mundane:
-splash pad with cousins
-"Cars 3" at the movie theatre
-learning to ride a scooter
-Discovery Cube in Santa Ana
-a week in San Diego: Safari Park, Zoo, walking around the Gaslamp, train museum, riding the trolley

Please leave your suggestions in the comments! 😎
