Audrey Hepburn's Pearls of Wisdom

Audrey Hepburn was more than an amazing actress. She was a worldly role model. Though she no longer walks this Earth with us, her words and wisdom carry on. This week, my mind is cluttered with news of horrific deaths, seeing poverty in front of me, and trying to balance work, home, school, and trying to be everything to everyone (that is a futile idea, btw--trying to break that habit). So, today, I thought it appropriate to remind myself of Audrey's wisdom.
“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”
