Everyday in May: {Day 12: Life Lately}

Life lately has been pretty hectic...thankfully, it is my last light work week, so I'm trying to get as much done as possible before state testing. I pretty much finished the deep cleaning that Spring calls for, plus some light projects around the house. Next week is the finalization of drywall repair, painting, and getting my master bathroom put together. I'm so grateful for time to get things done.

This guy keeps waking up super early...momma needs coffee first!

My best guy!

I finished this book, which I'll review this weekend:

After 6 trips to 4 different stores, we are now totally in Whole 30.

This was our first dinner, and it was delicious:
I'll be doing a Whole30 recap this weekend.

We met again this week as moms to discuss this book. I'm finding it really challenging because I feel this book is pushing moms to think they are messes...they aren't! The insecurities that run rampant through a mom's head are so dangerous. This book is good to reassure moms of God's promises, but I haven't gotten into it past that.

The kids got to play while we studied, and they had fun!

The Everyday in May blog challenge has REALLY helped me channel positivity and draw closer to God. Combined with Intercessional Prayer, even the difficult days of dealing with His people are easier to bear.

G: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." ~ Col 3:15
L: Problems are opportunities to run to God. God is perfectly just even when circumstances seem terribly unfair.
A: Thank God for problems that deliver us right into the palm of his hand.
M: Lord I thank you for all the challenges. You have a plan for my life, and though Satan tries to knock me down, you are victorious. The enemy will not win.
