Everyday in May: {Day 19: Life Lately}

Sheet Mask Monday! This was okay...not all that amazing. Still having cystic acne issues...

State testing started this week and I was not happy about it.

While logging kids into the computers and monitoring, I was walking a LOT. I put in 4 miles each day just walking kids back and forth.

By Tuesday afternoon, I was totally exhausted, so I grabbed a trenta iced coffee, and we walked in gorgeous weather!

Alas, the coffee didn't work and I was ready for bed early.

I found this soooo funny...like when Google asks, "did you mean --?" Grammarly apparently doesn't remember the good ole days of mailing something:

I love SnapChat filters. We had lots of laughs!

G: "The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still." -Exodus 14:14
L: I don't handle disappointment well. This has always been the case. Right now, there are many balls in the air, and I'm feeling their eventual drop will not be in the organized, single-file line of baskets I have laid out. We are taught that if we follow rules, procedures, policies, perhaps dreams, everything will work out. As I've come to find out, as you may have as well, God probably has a great chuckle when He sees those organized, single-file lined of baskets. He made me and may even delight in that part of me.
A: I really need to turn more things over to God. Some are definitely easier than others, but the outcome is always the same. God has His hand over it all, so why worry? The conflicts at work? God took care of them. The appointments that get put off? God scheduled them. The deadline you may not meet? God already intervened on your behalf. It feels so amazing to let go of things, why don't we just do that as a first instinct? The enemy wants to put lies, doubts, and fears in our minds, and at times, he succeeds. Staying in the Word and praying actively throughout the day is a great way to tell Satan he will not win.
M: Lord, I put my worries and stresses at your feet, so I can focus on the many blessings longing for more of my attention. Thank you for your provision and faithfulness. I pray for ways to bring glory to you after giving you my problems. Your Way is the only Way.
