Everyday in May: {Day 27: Friday Favorites}

#Amen

We're having a blast with SnapChat filters! Because really, in the witching hours after naps and before dinner, there isn't much else my brain can do!

Stir fry Zoodles! (Zucchini noodles)

I wish I had read this 2 years ago when I started my first draft. This is exactly what I needed!
I just got my defense scheduled for June 13th - Eeek! I am hoping to finish this book this weekend so I can better prepare.
If you or someone you know is starting or even in the thick of the dissertation, you BOTH should read it.

I'm a #sheetmaskaddict and this is my latest addiction!
I'd love your sheet mask recommendations! Comment below!

Friends, it's been a rough week. Can I get an Amen for Netflix?
#thankyouJesus

G: "The battle is not yours, but God's." 2 Chron 20:15b
L: Ever have someone accuse you? I had a sad experience this week, and I'm here to tell you, it has broken my heart a bit. I had to really hold back from getting defensive and explanatory and corrective - because, really, what does that solve? The person that accuses you may have had a bad day and you're the unlucky person to receive the brunt of it. Even if it is a correct accusation, it is just that, an accusation. The person isn't trying to discuss anything, they are pointing fingers and not looking for resolution.
A: I'm letting the accuser calm down, and in the meantime, praying my heart out for her. There's hurt, sure, but the method that someone expresses their hurt speaks more about them than you. Pray, pray, pray!
M: Lord, you know more than anyone what it is like to be accused. By your grace, we'll never know what it was like to be in your shoes. You demonstrate grace, mercy, and love beyond human understanding. You remind us that You will take care of everything. I am so grateful to take rest in You, and give you my worries. I pray for those who are hurting, that they may communicate their hurt in a way that brings you glory, and that resolution may be met in a way that honors you.
