Everyday in May: {Day 28: Baseball!}

Friends, I love me some baseball!
When it came time to plan Ryan's 1st birthday, the theme was a no-brainer!

When we moved to the new house last July, Ryan was going to have his own room! A baseball themed room was perfect (and gave me a place to put all the party decor!). New additions were the ceiling fan and the growth stick.

If you saw Thursday's post, I shared that if we get placed with a baby girl, I'm going FLAMINGO!
Today, I'm sharing my baseball Pinterest board - baseball! That's right - I'm going for broke on baseball!

G: "I have loved you even as the Father has loved me...When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow." John 15:9-11
L: Joy means choosing to praise God in ALL things. God is in control of all the details of my life, and  I am determined to praise Him in every situation. When I put God first and choose joy over frustration, disappointment, anger, anything, I am showing my kids that I trust God. I hope they will do so as well.
A: I don't get mad over spilled milk. I accept that toddlers are basically tiny drunk adults...can't get food in their mouths, have no coordination, poor impulse control, terrible at judging distances, and have no shame about not having clothes on. So what does getting mad accomplish? Nothing!
M: God, my son and my future kids to come are made perfect in your image. I'm honored to be charged with raising your children. I pray patient endurance as we wait for placement of our son or daughter. Thank you for my body, breath, strength, and health, that I may keep up with them!
