We are Annual Passholders, Disney+ subscribers, and love all the animated classics!
My screensaver is the Disney Photo Pass QR code for easy uploads at the Parks.
I dreamed of one day taking my kids to see the Big Cheese, Mickey himself, and going on the tea cups. God has certainly been faithful to this prayer, and I love the memories we're creating!
I find that after a rough week, I am seeking the Pixie Dust found in the Parks for myself. There's something about the smell of popcorn and churros, the sounds of ragtime music, the feeling of magic in the air that is my self care. I don't even care (mostly) when my kids are cranky. I can usually entice with popcorn to calm them.
I drive close to 90 minutes to get to Disneyland. This can also be self-care time if I have a great podcast or audiobook. When I take my kids, we play Mommy DJ where we all get turns to pick a song to sing together. It is a sweet time.
What do you do for self-care? For me, give me a churro and I'm a happy girl!
