Everyday in May: {Day 24: Show and Tell Tuesday: Vacation}

Today I'm linking up with Andrea to talk about my favorite vacation. Which, and I'm very blessed to say, is hard to think of because I've had a lot.

We didn't travel when I was growing up. Money was tight, and we basically only went as far as Vegas for family events. We did have a vacation to San Francisco when I was 10, and that trip made me fall in love with the city.

My hubby loves to travel as well, so I'm so glad we have that in common!

Our first big vacation was San Francisco & Napa in 2008...we had never been to Napa, so it was such a wonderful time.

After we got married in 2009, we spent the following 3 days up north again, visiting the same great wineries and finding new ones.

A month later, we went to Maui for a week-long honeymoon! That was a fantastic trip as well.

In 2010, we found ourselves in Maui again for a wedding, and had a great time ziplining, eating, and sitting on the beach!

In 2011, my bucket list was met, getting to see the ball drop in Times Square. This was probably my most favorite vacation so far. New York City:

In 2012, we FINALLY took a cruise!
We rang in 2013 in the Mexican Riveria.

In 2013, we went up north again for some great times in San Francisco.

We drove home so we could visit Pebble Beach and Big Sur:

In 2014, we went to Oahu and Germany, and mini-trips to San Diego with our new son:

In 2015, we took a quick trip up north to San Jose, and spent a whole day in San Francisco:

This year, we have not yet taken our vacations...we are going to Palm Springs this summer (yes, that was a bad choice) and Park City in November/December. So excited!!

G: "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth." Genesis 1:2
L: God made such beautiful places. I want to see them all! We truly are blessed to live where we live and have experiences in other places. I can't wait to show my son all the wonderful places of the world.
A: There's a great connection here to finances. God provides so we may make wise choices as stewards of His money, and spend in a Godly way. This includes food, shelter, clothing, and transportation, of course, but remembering to give our first fruits back to God. He provides so we can enjoy His creations.
M: God I'm grateful for your provision. You've blessed me with so much, and yet, I still have opportunities to see Your glorious world. I pray for wisdom to make Godly choices with Your money so that I may show my son Your world, and we can have those big discussions. We want to change the world for Christ. Thank you for these times.
